Livingston is an extraordinarily good part of Calgary for travelling by car. It is very easy to park, and most of the street infrastructure is conducive to driving. On the other hand, commuting by transit can be challenging in this part of Calgary due to the infrequent service. Thankfully, property owners are served by a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is usually a short distance away. Most houses for sale in this area are located in places that are not very suitable for pedestrians since meeting daily needs is difficult without the use of a vehicle. Biking is also sometimes difficult in Livingston because the bicycling network is not particularly extensive, and the topography is not particularly flat.
