Vermilion Developments is the Canadian Division of Shiyang Group, a TARION registered builder. In 2015, Shiyang Group established a new global development to serve in Ontario, Vermilion was created to bring a fresh, new approach to the Canadian real estate market.

Originally established in 1992 in Xi’an, a city in the province of Shaanxi, China. As an ethically responsible and reliable company that worked off of their integrity, they won multiple awards such as ‘Consumer’s Favourite,’ National Primary Leading Brand,’ and ‘AAA-Class Quality Enterprise.’

They opened Shiyang Finance in 2009 that provided investment management, credit and loan services and more. With their growth over the last few years, they have generated over $1.2 billion in sales revenue and became a publicly traded company in 2017.

With their extensive experience in multiple fields, they developed Huibang Developments, a real estate division in 2013. They focused on property management, construction, marketing and sales of residential, commercial, industrial and tourism developments in Shaanxi. They are a full-service company that focuses on every stage of real estate development and property management.

In 2015, they decided to extend their global footprint to Canada and thus, Vermilion Developments was born. Their mission is to carry out Shiyang’s vision by providing high-quality homes for Canadians.

Tarion Warranty & Buyer Security

Pre-construction homes and condominiums developed by Vermilion Developments in Ontario are covered by the Tarion Warranty Corporation in accordance with the Ontario New Home Warranties Plan Act.

This provincial framework provides purchasers with mandatory deposit protection, a 1-year warranty on workmanship and materials, a 2-year warranty on building systems (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing), and up to 7 years of major structural defect coverage. Condominium buyers additionally benefit from Ontario's statutory 10-day cooling-off rescission period upon signing.
