Getting around
This part of the city is very car friendly. Nearby highways, such as Highway 400, are very easy to reach from any location in Concord, and it is very convenient to come across a place to park. On the other hand, commuting by transit can be sometimes challenging in Concord as a result of the low service level. Nonetheless, there are plenty of rapid transit stations with access to the Line 1 (Yonge-University) and Viva Orange. Residents can rely on the Rutherford on the Barrie. There are approximately 40 bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and the nearest bus stop is generally around the corner. It is easy to commute by bike in this part of Vaughan. On the other hand, there are relatively few pedestrians out on the streets of Concord, although many daily errands can be run without needing a vehicle.
