Getting around

Cars are an excellent medium of transportation in La Salle. Most homes for sale are a short drive from the closest highway, such as Highway 403, and parking is generally easy. However, the transit service in La Salle is somewhat poor. Nevertheless, there is the Aldershot with access to the Lakeshore West. There are around 10 bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far from most properties. Even though bicycling is more feasible in some areas than others, this part of Burlington is not particularly suited for biking since there are few bike lanes, and there are a fair number of hills to challenge cyclists. Getting around as a pedestrian in La Salle is also not very popular, despite the fact that running daily errands is easy without a vehicle.

Everyday essentials

Families will welcome that wherever their property is situated in La Salle, primary schools and daycares are nearby. However, there are only a few high schools and accordingly they can be an extended trip away. With regards to food, it is difficult to access the closest grocery store as a pedestrian from most homes for sale in this part of the city. Additionally, those who like to eat in restaurants will have a good number of choices, and there are also a few coffee shops in La Salle. It is also easy to reach a variety of clothing stores as a pedestrian.
