Getting around
Downtown Yonge East does not demand driving since several other modes of transportation are available. Walking is especially practical for house buyers in this part of the city; meeting day-to-day needs is very convenient on foot, and there are also a very large number of businesses nearby. This area is also a very pleasant part of Toronto for cyclists. More specifically, bike-share stations are hardly ever more than a short walk away, and Downtown Yonge East boasts a good bicycling infrastructure. The public transit network in this part of the city is very practical owing to many nearby rapid transit stations with access to the Line 1 (Yonge-University), and about 10 nearby bus lines. In contrast, getting around by car is occasionally challenging in this area. That being said, nearby highways are very easy to reach from any home in Downtown Yonge East.
