Getting around
This part of the city allows home buyers to get around by various methods of transportation. This neighbourhood will appeal to house buyers who want to live in a compact area as it is rather geared to walking; running common errands is easy without needing a car, and numerous businesses are moderately close by. Although there are a limited number of slopes, and riding a bike is more practical in some sectors than others, biking is occasionally difficult in this neighbourhood as the bicycling network is sometimes poor. The transit network in Yorkdale-Glen Park is very accessible due to a multitude of nearby rapid transit stations with access to the Line 1 (Yonge-University), and around 30 nearby bus lines. Cars are also a good means of transportation in this part of the city. It is a very short drive to the closest highway, such as Highway 401, from any location in Yorkdale-Glen Park, and it is convenient to find a place to park.
