A NEIGHBOURHOOD IN CONTEXT

Start with how
you spend your day.

Lexington is a wonderful neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a calm environment. Green spaces, such as Kiwanis Park and Kaufman Flats, are especially well-situated and there are over 50 of them close by for residents to unwind in, which makes them easy to get to. This part of the city is also wonderful for those who need quiet surroundings, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic.

Getting around

Driving is a very good transportation option in Lexington. Many properties for sale are a short car ride from the closest highway, and finding a place to park is quite easy. On the other hand, the public transit service in Lexington is not very frequent. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and the closest bus stop is generally very close by. The bicycle is a fairly good means of transportation in Lexington since there are a good number of bike lanes. Walking is not especially feasible for home buyers in this area because meeting daily needs is sometimes difficult without the use of a vehicle.

Everyday essentials

It is very difficult to access the closest supermarket without needing to get in a car from anywhere in this part of Waterloo. Moreover, there is often a restaurant or cafe just around the corner. Regarding education, daycares and primary schools are straightforward to access on foot from most houses for sale in this part of Waterloo. On the other hand, there are no high schools in Lexington.

This area did not experience a single building boom; the construction of new homes in Lexington was spread throughout multiple decades in the twentieth and twenty-first century. This neighbourhood is primarily composed of four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes.

A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Before you
call it home.

What do the location scores measure?

Local Logic supplies individual access and character scores on a 0–5 scale for the recorded coordinates. Consider each measure separately; we do not calculate an overall livability rating.

Are the distances walking times?

No. Distances are straight-line measurements from the project reference. Open directions to check a walking, cycling, transit or driving route.

Does a nearby school guarantee admission?

No. Confirm attendance boundaries, programs, capacity and registration requirements with the relevant school board.

Do the demographic figures describe future residents?

No. They describe the existing population in the provider’s surrounding study area. They do not predict the buyers or future residents of this project.

Prepared by Team Arora. Scores, neighbourhood descriptions, school records, places and demographic information are supplied by Local Logic. Requests are cached for up to 24 hours; underlying source periods may be older. Provider neighbourhood labels may differ from builder descriptions. Missing data remains unavailable.

Recorded coordinates: 43.4875574, -80.4829225. Amenity queries use a 2.5 km radius; school results retain the provider’s school-search coverage. Distances use the returned straight-line measurement, or are calculated directly between coordinates when absent. The project page includes the existing map; Google provides the linked directions. Verify current place details, boundaries and routes before making a decision.
