Getting around
People who appreciate being able to walk to everything will be pleased with the rather pedestrian-friendly character of Guildford; many day-to-day errands can be run without a vehicle. Biking is also easy in Guildford as this part of the city boasts fairly good cycling infrastructure. Guildford is not especially transit friendly. Nevertheless, there are approximately 10 bus lines, and most houses are very close to a bus stop. On the other hand, driving is a very good transportation option in this part of Surrey. It is easy to access a place to park, and it is a rather short car ride to the closest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway, from any home in Guildford.
