Getting around
Commuting by car is very easy in UDistrict. It is a very short drive to the nearest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway, from any home in this neighbourhood, and it is easy to access a place to park. However, the public transit service in UDistrict is not very frequent. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is linked by around 10 bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is usually very close by. Traveling as a pedestrian is not very popular in this neighbourhood, although meeting daily needs is convenient without a car. Even though people often choose to move around by bike, this part of the city is also not especially bike-friendly as riding is made strenuous by the typically steep topography, and the cycling network is not particularly well-developed.
