A NEIGHBOURHOOD IN CONTEXT
There is a wide variety of green spaces in Hazelmere. Reaching public green spaces in the neighbourhood, like Redwood Park and Little Campbell River Hatchery, is easy, since most houses have one around the corner and there are about 30 parks nearby for residents to unwind in. It is relatively quiet in this area, due to the presence of very few people out and about on the streets.
The best method to move around in Hazelmere is usually driving. It is very easy to park. This part of the city is not especially amenable to cycling because the bicycling infrastructure is rather limited, and there are a fair number of elevation changes. Traveling as a pedestrian is also not very practical for property owners in Hazelmere since running common errands is inconvenient without needing a car.
It is a rather short stroll to reach primary schools from any location in this area. In contrast, families may find it very difficult to get to high schools without a vehicle. When it comes to eating, a car is usually required in Hazelmere to reach the nearest grocery store. A limited selection of restaurants and coffee shops can be found as well.
