Getting around
This neighbourhood is well-suited for pedestrians; running daily errands is easy without the need for a car. It is also easy to commute by bike in this part of the city because riding is facilitated by the generally flat terrain. The public transit service in this part of Kitchener is not particularly frequent. Thankfully, there is Fairway Station on the ION Light Rail. There are approximately 10 bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and it is very convenient to get to a nearby bus stop from most properties. In contrast, Centreville Chicopee is an extraordinarily convenient part of Kitchener for travelling by car. It is a short drive to the closest highway, such as Highway 8, from anywhere in this neighbourhood, and coming across a place to park is quite easy.
