A NEIGHBOURHOOD IN CONTEXT

Start with how
you spend your day.

South Hill is a great neighbourhood for those who enjoy both indoor and outdoor activities. Finding things to do is easy in this part of the city. Despite the fact that there is a narrow selection of entertainment venues, there are often lots of people around, and with the bars in nearby neighbourhoods, it is very easy to find a place to grab a drink as they are generally located very close by. Greenery is very prominent in this part of the city as a lot of streets have very good tree coverage. Most locations within the neighbourhood have good access to green spaces, including Sir Winston Churchill Park, since there are about 10 of them nearby for residents to enjoy.

Getting around

This part of the city does not demand use of a car as several other methods of transportation are available. Many of the houses for sale in this area are located in areas that are especially conducive to walking; most daily errands can be run on foot, and numerous businesses of different types can be found as well. A good number of people in the area use their bicycle because there is always a bike-share station in proximity. This area is a very pleasant part of Toronto for travelling by public transit. Rapid transit stations, such as St Clair West Station - Southbound Platform and Dupont Station - Northbound Platform on the Line 1 (Yonge-University), are not very far from most homes in the neighbourhood. Homeowners are served by a few bus lines, and most homes are very close to a bus stop. In contrast, cars are a somewhat poor transportation option in this part of Toronto as most real estate listings are a very long drive from the closest highway, and it is challenging to park.

Everyday essentials

Both general and specialty grocery stores are usually accessible within a very short walk from most houses for sale in this neighbourhood. Additionally, there are a good number of opportunities for those who appreciate nearby restaurants and cafes. With respect to education, it is a very short walk to get to schools and daycares from most homes for sale in this part of the city. At the primary level, there are both public and private schools.

A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Before you
call it home.

What do the location scores measure?

Local Logic supplies individual access and character scores on a 0–5 scale for the recorded coordinates. Consider each measure separately; we do not calculate an overall livability rating.

Are the distances walking times?

No. Distances are straight-line measurements from the project reference. Open directions to check a walking, cycling, transit or driving route.

Does a nearby school guarantee admission?

No. Confirm attendance boundaries, programs, capacity and registration requirements with the relevant school board.

Do the demographic figures describe future residents?

No. They describe the existing population in the provider’s surrounding study area. They do not predict the buyers or future residents of this project.

Prepared by Team Arora. Scores, neighbourhood descriptions, school records, places and demographic information are supplied by Local Logic. Requests are cached for up to 24 hours; underlying source periods may be older. Provider neighbourhood labels may differ from builder descriptions. Missing data remains unavailable.

Recorded coordinates: 43.6821265, -79.4070649. Amenity queries use a 2.5 km radius; school results retain the provider’s school-search coverage. Distances use the returned straight-line measurement, or are calculated directly between coordinates when absent. The project page includes the existing map; Google provides the linked directions.
