A NEIGHBOURHOOD IN CONTEXT

Start with how
you spend your day.

Lincoln has a character that caters to a fairly diverse group of people. Lincoln is great for those who need a quiet atmosphere, as noise from the streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue. On the other hand, there are over 50 green spaces close by for residents to unwind in, like Hillside Reserve and Forwell Park, and they are very well-situated, making it easy to get to them. Finally, even though the ambience is not the most lively in this part of Waterloo with its a few bars, there are options for nighttime activities.

Getting around

The preferred method to move around in Lincoln is usually driving. The majority of properties for sale are a reasonably short car ride from the nearest highway, such as Highway 85, and parking is quite easy. However, the public transit system in Lincoln is somewhat poor. Nonetheless, house owners profit from Conestoga Station with access to the ION Light Rail. There are about 10 bus lines, and it is very easy to reach a nearby bus stop from most residences. Traveling as a pedestrian in Lincoln is not very popular, despite the fact that meeting daily needs is easy without the use of a vehicle. On the other hand, the bike is a good mode of transportation in this part of Waterloo because it is an even ride to most locations.

Everyday essentials

Families will welcome the proximity to primary schools and daycares, which are within walking distance from vast majority properties for sale in this area. However, high schools are not abundant and accordingly tend to require a very long stroll to get to. Concerning eating, it is easy to reach the nearest supermarket without a vehicle in Lincoln. Furthermore, there are a fair number of options for those who care about nearby restaurants and cafes.

A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Before you
call it home.

What do the location scores measure?

Local Logic supplies individual access and character scores on a 0–5 scale for the recorded coordinates. Consider each measure separately; we do not calculate an overall livability rating.

Are the distances walking times?

No. Distances are straight-line measurements from the project reference. Open directions to check a walking, cycling, transit or driving route.

Does a nearby school guarantee admission?

No. Confirm attendance boundaries, programs, capacity and registration requirements with the relevant school board.

Do the demographic figures describe future residents?

No. They describe the existing population in the provider’s surrounding study area. They do not predict the buyers or future residents of this project.

SOURCES & METHODOLOGY

A guide with a clear point of reference.

Prepared by Team Arora. Scores, neighbourhood descriptions, school records, places and demographic information are supplied by Local Logic. Requests are cached for up to 24 hours; underlying source periods may be older. Provider neighbourhood labels may differ from builder descriptions. Missing data remains unavailable.

Recorded coordinates: 43.4924936, -80.51287359999999. Amenity queries use a 2.5 km radius; school results retain the provider’s school-search coverage. Distances use the returned straight-line measurement, or are calculated directly between coordinates when absent. The project page includes the existing map; Google provides the linked directions. Verify current place details, boundaries and routes before making a decision.
