Getting around
Moving around by car is especially convenient in this part of Hamilton. It is a rather short car ride to the nearest highway, such as Queen Elizabeth Way, from anywhere in Lakeshore, and parking is generally easy. In contrast, travelling by transit can be very hard in this part of Hamilton due to the low service level. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines. Lakeshore is not particularly bicycling-friendly as the cycling network is not very well-developed. Nonetheless, there are a limited number of slopes. It is also inconvenient for pedestrians to get around in Lakeshore as running day-to-day errands is occasionally challenging without a car.
