A NEIGHBOURHOOD IN CONTEXT

Start with how
you spend your day.

Parkhill is a "jack-of-all-trades" when it comes to the feel of this area. Parkhill is great for those who need quiet surroundings, as there tend to be low levels of noise from traffic. However, it is very easy to reach public green spaces in the neighbourhood since there are approximately 30 of them close by for residents to explore. Lastly, even though this part of Calgary is not known for its lively ambience, with the bars in nearby neighbourhoods, it is easy to find a place to grab a drink because they are generally located a short walk away.

Getting around

This part of the city provides property owners with the choice between various means of transportation. Parkhill is a fairly convenient part of Calgary for travelling by public transit. More specifically, rapid transit stations, including Erlton / Stampede Station and 39th Avenue Station on the Red Line - Somerset - Bridlewood/Tuscany CTrain, are commonly around the corner from the bulk of properties in the neighbourhood. There are a few bus lines, and it is very easy to reach a nearby bus stop from most homes. Parkhill is also well-suited for those who prefer to travel by foot; most daily needs are convenient to carry out without a car, and there are also a good number of businesses nearby. Parkhill will draw physically active house buyers since it is moderately suited for bicycling. In particular, this neighbourhood has good cycling infrastructure.

Everyday essentials

It is convenient to access both a general and a specialty grocery store as a pedestrian from most houses for sale in Parkhill. Likewise, thanks to approximately 30 restaurants and a few coffee shops, this part of the city is a very good area in which to go out to eat, for example along MacLeod Trail South-west. It is also straightforward to access a variety of clothing stores by foot. Concerning education, parents and their schoolchildren will welcome the proximity to schools and daycares, which are within walking distance from the majority of homes for sale in this neighbourhood.

A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Before you
call it home.

What do the location scores measure?

Local Logic supplies individual access and character scores on a 0–5 scale for the recorded coordinates. Consider each measure separately; we do not calculate an overall livability rating.

Are the distances walking times?

No. Distances are straight-line measurements from the project reference. Open directions to check a walking, cycling, transit or driving route.

Does a nearby school guarantee admission?

No. Confirm attendance boundaries, programs, capacity and registration requirements with the relevant school board.

Do the demographic figures describe future residents?

No. They describe the existing population in the provider’s surrounding study area. They do not predict the buyers or future residents of this project.

Prepared by Team Arora. Scores, neighbourhood descriptions, school records, places and demographic information are supplied by Local Logic. Requests are cached for up to 24 hours; underlying source periods may be older. Provider neighbourhood labels may differ from builder descriptions. Missing data remains unavailable.

Recorded coordinates: 51.0177509, -114.0646314. Amenity queries use a 2.5 km radius; school results retain the provider’s school-search coverage. Distances use the returned straight-line measurement, or are calculated directly between coordinates when absent. The project page includes the existing map; Google provides the linked directions. Verify current place details, boundaries and routes before making a decision.
