Getting around
No matter the means of transportation, it is rather convenient to get around in Etobicoke City Centre. Residents can depend on public transit to get around in this part of the city. More specifically, rapid transit stations, including Kipling Terminal Platform 14, Islington Station - Westbound Platform and Dundas St / Billingham Rd on the Line 2 (Bloor - Danforth) and Meadowvale Express, are usually around the corner from most properties in the neighbourhood. Train stations, such as the Kipling on the Milton, are ordinarily relatively close by from the greater part of residences in the neighbourhood. The neighbourhood is connected by approximately 30 bus lines, and it is especially convenient to get to a nearby bus stop from most properties. It is also easy for people travelling by foot to navigate this part of the city; many daily needs are easy to carry out without needing a vehicle, and various businesses are rather close at hand. Cycling is convenient in Etobicoke City Centre because there are a limited number of hills, and the bicycling network is fairly good.
