Getting around
Chinatown does not necessitate driving since several other modes of transportation are at the disposal of homeowners. People who appreciate walkability will be pleased with the very pedestrian-friendly nature of this part of the city; all common errands can be run without needing to resort to a car, and innumerable businesses of different types can be found as well. Numerous people in the area use their bicycle because there are countless bike lanes, and bike-share stations are never more than a few blocks away. Owing to various nearby rapid transit stations on the Canada Line and Expo Line, and around 40 nearby bus lines, the transit service in this area is very accessible. On the other hand, driving is a rather poor transportation option in Chinatown as the street network is not very well suited for getting around by car, and it is very difficult to access a place to park.
