Lastly, even though the atmosphere is not the liveliest in this part of the city, the vibe can still be quite energetic around its main streets, and places to go out at night are well-distributed throughout the area. 17 Avenue South-west in particular offers a good selection of nightlife.

Getting around

This part of Calgary will appeal to property owners that appreciate various methods of transportation. Rosscarrock features good transit service. Rapid transit stations, such as Westbrook Station and 45th Street Station with access to the Blue Line - Saddletowne/69 Street CTrain, are not very far-removed from the greater part of homes in the neighbourhood. Property owners are served by approximately 10 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most properties. A majority of the homes for sale in this neighbourhood are located in areas that are also rather well-suited for pedestrians; carrying out daily needs is easy without a car, and plenty of businesses are moderately close at hand. Cycling is convenient in this area because Rosscarrock has fairly good bicycling infrastructure.

Everyday essentials

A general and a specialty grocery store is always only a short distance away in this neighbourhood. Furthermore, those who are fond of dining in restaurants or cafes will have a good number of opportunities in Rosscarrock, for example on 17 Avenue South-west. It is also a reasonably short walk to a decent choice of clothing stores.
