Getting around
This part of the city does not demand use of a car because various other means of transportation are available. Traveling by foot is very feasible for property owners in Ryerson; most daily errands can be run without a vehicle, and plenty of businesses are particularly close by. Riding a bike is fairly prevalent in Ryerson since bike-share stations are rarely more than a few blocks away, and the cycling network is reasonably comprehensive. Ryerson is an extraordinarily convenient part of Toronto for travelling by public transit as a consequence of a multitude of nearby rapid transit stations on the Line 1 (Yonge-University), and about 10 nearby bus lines. In contrast, cars are a somewhat poor transportation option in Ryerson. That being said, the majority of houses for sale are a reasonably short car ride from the closest highway.
