Getting around
East End-Danforth is a very good neighbourhood with respect to travelling without a car. East End-Danforth is a fairly convenient part of Toronto for pedestrians; many daily errands can be run without needing to resort to a vehicle, and various businesses are quite close by. This area will also draw active house buyers because it is reasonably suited for cycling. More precisely, there are few elevation changes in much of the topography to challenge cyclists. This part of Toronto is a very pleasant part of Toronto for moving around by public transit by reason of plenty of nearby rapid transit stations with access to the Line 2 (Bloor - Danforth), and approximately 10 nearby bus lines. On the other hand, travelling by car is occasionally difficult in East End-Danforth as parking is not especially easy, and most real estate listings are a very long car ride from the closest highway.
