Getting around

This part of the city is reasonably suitable for those who get around on foot; many daily errands can be run without a car, and numerous businesses are close at hand. Marshall-McCallum is also a fairly convenient part of Abbotsford for cyclists. For instance, the bicycling infrastructure is reasonably good. The transit service in Marshall-McCallum is not very practical. Nonetheless, property owners are served by about 10 bus lines, and bus stops are generally very close by. However, the preferred transportation option in Marshall-McCallum is usually driving. The majority of homes for sale are a short drive from the nearest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway, and it is convenient to access a place to park.

Everyday essentials

It is challenging to reach the nearest supermarket on foot in Marshall-McCallum. Furthermore, there is usually a restaurant or cafe just around the corner. As far as education is concerned, schools and daycares are straightforward to get to without a vehicle from any location in Marshall-McCallum.

Local character

Marshall-McCallum is a very good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a calm ambience. Green spaces, including Ravine Park and Mill Lake Park, are very well-distributed and there are over 50 of them nearby for residents to relax in, which makes it easy to reach them. This neighbourhood is also very quiet, as noise from the streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue.
