you spend your day.

Cambie is a "jack-of-all-trades" when it comes to the ambience of this area. Finding things to do in this neighbourhood is easy. Despite the fact that there is a limited selection of entertainment venues, there are a large number of people around most of the time, and with its a few nightlife venues, it is easy to find a place to grab a drink since they are generally located a short walk away. Cambie is very quiet, as there are usually low levels of noise from traffic. There are over 50 public green spaces close by for residents to discover, like VanDusen Botanical Garden and Hillcrest Park, and they are very well-situated, which makes them easy to get to.

Getting around

Cambie is a great neighbourhood for eco-friendly transportation options. It is very convenient for people walking to navigate this area; most daily needs can be met without a car, and plenty of businesses are rather close by. Active property owners will also appreciate the very cycling-friendly nature of this neighbourhood. In particular, the cycling infrastructure is moderately well-developed, and a bike share station is generally located nearby. Owing to plenty of nearby rapid transit stations with access to the Canada Line, and around 10 nearby bus lines, the transit system in Cambie is very accessible. In contrast, Cambie is not very car friendly as it is challenging to come across a place to park.

Everyday essentials

Families will appreciate that no matter where their home is situated in this part of the city, schools and daycares are nearby. With respect to food, a general and a specialty grocery store is always only a short walk away in Cambie. Likewise, there are over 200 restaurants and approximately 40 coffee shops to experience in this part of Vancouver. It is also a very short trip to a great choice of clothing stores.

A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Before you
call it home.

What do the location scores measure?

Local Logic supplies individual access and character scores on a 0–5 scale for the recorded coordinates. Consider each measure separately; we do not calculate an overall livability rating.

Are the distances walking times?

No. Distances are straight-line measurements from the project reference. Open directions to check a walking, cycling, transit or driving route.

Does a nearby school guarantee admission?

No. Confirm attendance boundaries, programs, capacity and registration requirements with the relevant school board.

Do the demographic figures describe future residents?

No. They describe the existing population in the provider’s surrounding study area. They do not predict the buyers or future residents of this project.

SOURCES & METHODOLOGY

A guide with a clear point of reference.

Prepared by Team Arora. Scores, neighbourhood descriptions, school records, places and demographic information are supplied by Local Logic. Requests are cached for up to 24 hours; underlying source periods may be older. Provider neighbourhood labels may differ from builder descriptions. Missing data remains unavailable.

Recorded coordinates: 49.24985059999999, -123.1132722. Amenity queries use a 2.5 km radius; school results retain the provider’s school-search coverage. Distances use the returned straight-line measurement, or are calculated directly between coordinates when absent. The project page includes the existing map; Google provides the linked directions. Verify current place details, boundaries and routes before making a decision.
