Getting around
Travelling by car is very easy in this part of Calgary. The majority of houses for sale are a rather short car ride from the closest highway, and it is very convenient to find a place to park. In contrast, commuting by transit can be challenging in this part of Calgary as a result of the service's low frequency. Nevertheless, homeowners are served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most houses. Even though there are a fair number of bike lanes, this part of the city is not particularly amenable to cycling because the topography is not especially flat. Yorkville is also not very well-suited for people who get around as pedestrians because very few common errands can be run without the use of a car.
