Getting around
This part of Calgary affords house buyers several alternative modes of transportation. The fairly good public transit system allows people to get to many destinations without needing a car. Rapid transit stations, such as Zoo Station, Barlow - Max Bell Station and EB City Hall/Bow Valley College(TD Free Fare Zone) with access to the Blue Line - Saddletowne/69 Street CTrain and Red Line - Somerset - Bridlewood/Tuscany CTrain, are not very far from most homes in the neighbourhood. There are about 30 bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and it is very convenient to get to a nearby bus stop from most properties. Walking is also very practical for property owners in this neighbourhood; running common errands is easy without a vehicle, and there are also a fair number of businesses nearby. Cycling is rather adopted in this part of Calgary since the bicycling network is very well-developed.
