Getting around
The preferred approach to get around in Glen Abbey is very often driving. It is straightforward to park, and the majority of real estate listings are a rather short drive from the closest highway, such as Queen Elizabeth Way. However, getting around by transit can be difficult in this part of the town by reason of the low service level. Nevertheless, residents benefit from the Bronte on the Lakeshore West. The neighbourhood is served by approximately 10 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most houses. It is at times challenging for pedestrians to get around in Glen Abbey since many daily needs are at times difficult to carry out without a car. In contrast, this part of the town is moderately cycling-friendly because there are a good number of bike lanes.
