A NEIGHBOURHOOD IN CONTEXT

Start with how
you spend your day.

Cityscape is a reasonably good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a relaxed ambience. Parks are especially well-spread out and there are approximately 40 of them close by for residents to check out, making it easy to access them. This part of Calgary is also reasonably quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour.

Getting around

Cars are a great medium of transportation in Cityscape. It is very easy to park, and most properties for sale are a rather short drive from the closest highway. The transit access in Cityscape is also fairly good. There are around 10 bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far from most homes. Although the cycling infrastructure is fairly good, and there are a limited number of slopes to challenge cyclists, the bike is a sometimes poor means of transportation in Cityscape. Getting around as a pedestrian is also not very convenient for house buyers in Cityscape as very few common errands can be run without the need to use a car.

Everyday essentials

Doing one's groceries often necessitates the use of a vehicle in Cityscape. Nevertheless, pharmacies are typically very easy to reach as a pedestrian and sell some staple foods. There are also a limited number of options for those who value restaurants in close proximity. As far as education is concerned, it is a short stroll to access daycares from most houses for sale in Cityscape. In contrast, there are no primary schools and no high schools in Cityscape.

Local character

Cityscape is a reasonably good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a relaxed ambience. Parks are especially well-spread out and there are approximately 40 of them close by for residents to check out, making it easy to access them. This part of Calgary is also reasonably quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour.

Surrounding homes

Single detached homes are the predominant housing type, representing most buildings in Cityscape, while the rest are mainly townhouses. However this part of the city is especially good for those looking for three bedroom homes. Homeowners occupy around 90% of the properties in Cityscape and 10% are rented. Most housing in this neighbourhood was built following the year 2000, during its biggest construction boom.

A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Before you
call it home.

What do the location scores measure?

Local Logic supplies individual access and character scores on a 0–5 scale for the recorded coordinates. Consider each measure separately; we do not calculate an overall livability rating.

Are the distances walking times?

No. Distances are straight-line measurements from the project reference. Open directions to check a walking, cycling, transit or driving route.

Does a nearby school guarantee admission?

No. Confirm attendance boundaries, programs, capacity and registration requirements with the relevant school board.

Do the demographic figures describe future residents?

No. They describe the existing population in the provider’s surrounding study area. They do not predict the buyers or future residents of this project.

SOURCES & METHODOLOGY

A guide with a clear point of reference.

Prepared by Team Arora. Scores, neighbourhood descriptions, school records, places and demographic information are supplied by Local Logic. Requests are cached for up to 24 hours; underlying source periods may be older. Provider neighbourhood labels may differ from builder descriptions. Missing data remains unavailable.

Recorded coordinates: 51.14743774364431, -113.9681636391784. Amenity queries use a 2.5 km radius; school results retain the provider’s school-search coverage. Distances use the returned straight-line measurement, or are calculated directly between coordinates when absent. The project page includes the existing map; Google provides the linked directions. Verify current place details, boundaries and routes before making a decision.
