Getting around

Driving is often the best approach to get around in Springbank Hill. It is very easy to come across a parking spot. On the other hand, the public transit system in this part of the city is not very convenient. Thankfully, commuters profit from 69th Street Station with access to the Blue Line - Saddletowne/69 Street CTrain. Homeowners are served by about 10 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most houses. A majority of the houses for sale in this part of Calgary are located in places that are not very convenient for those who get around by walking as most day-to-day needs are at times challenging to meet without a vehicle. On the other hand, Springbank Hill is reasonably suited for cycling since there are a good number of bike lanes.

Everyday essentials

Schools and daycares are straightforward to get to by foot from anywhere in this part of the city. As far as eating is concerned, in all but a limited number of cases, a vehicle is needed in Springbank Hill to reach the closest supermarket. Nonetheless, pharmacies are generally convenient to get to by foot and provide some basic food items. Residents can enjoy about 10 restaurants and coffee shops as well.
