A NEIGHBOURHOOD IN CONTEXT

Start with how
you spend your day.

There is a broad selection of green spaces in Northeast. There are over 50 parks close by for residents to discover, like Parkway Belt Park and Dunton Athletic Fields, making them very easy to get to from numerous locations within Northeast. Finally, this part of Mississauga is relatively quiet, due to the presence of few people out and about on the streets; however there can be higher levels of noise for those who are near one of the 2 airports (Tarten Heliport,Toronto / Cardinal Couriers Heliport), one of the railway lines, Highway 410 or Highway 427.

Getting around

Northeast has reasonably good transit due to a multitude of rapid transit stations on the Meadowvale Express, and about 40 nearby bus lines. However, there are relatively few pedestrians out on the streets of this neighbourhood, despite the fact that many daily errands can be run without the use of a car. Commuting by bicycle is sometimes challenging in Northeast since there are few bike lanes. Nevertheless, cyclists do not face serious slopes, and riding a bike is more practical in certain sectors than others. In contrast, cars are a great transportation option in Northeast. Nearby highways, such as Highway 410, are very easy to reach from any location in Northeast, and most of the street infrastructure is built for driving.

Everyday essentials

A supermarket is ordinarily accessible within a reasonably short stroll from most homes for sale in Northeast. Moreover, this part of Mississauga is a good place in which to eat out or go to a cafe, for example on Eglinton Avenue. Residents benefit from a fair number of nearby clothing stores. As far as education is concerned, schools and daycares are convenient to access without a car from most properties for sale in Northeast.

Surrounding homes

In Northeast, roughly one third of buildings are large apartment buildings, while single detached homes are also present in the housing stock. This part of the city has a good choice of housing size options, ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms. The split between homeowners and renters is about even. Around one quarter of homes in this part of Mississauga were constructed in the 1980s, while many of the remaining buildings were built in the 1960s and the 1990s.

A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Before you
call it home.

What do the location scores measure?

Local Logic supplies individual access and character scores on a 0–5 scale for the recorded coordinates. Consider each measure separately; we do not calculate an overall livability rating.

Are the distances walking times?

No. Distances are straight-line measurements from the project reference. Open directions to check a walking, cycling, transit or driving route.

Does a nearby school guarantee admission?

No. Confirm attendance boundaries, programs, capacity and registration requirements with the relevant school board.

Do the demographic figures describe future residents?

No. They describe the existing population in the provider’s surrounding study area. They do not predict the buyers or future residents of this project.

SOURCES & METHODOLOGY

A guide with a clear point of reference.

Prepared by Team Arora. Scores, neighbourhood descriptions, school records, places and demographic information are supplied by Local Logic. Requests are cached for up to 24 hours; underlying source periods may be older. Provider neighbourhood labels may differ from builder descriptions. Missing data remains unavailable.

Recorded coordinates: 43.7138324, -79.6312774. Amenity queries use a 2.5 km radius; school results retain the provider’s school-search coverage. Distances use the returned straight-line measurement, or are calculated directly between coordinates when absent. The project page includes the existing map; Google provides the linked directions. Verify current place details, boundaries and routes before making a decision.
