Getting around

Driving is a very good means of transportation in Courtice. It is easy to find a parking spot. However, the public transit system in Courtice is not very practical. Nevertheless, house owners are served by a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is generally around the corner. Most homes for sale in this area are located in places that are not very conducive to those who get around by foot since most day-to-day needs are occasionally difficult to carry out without a car. The bicycle is a somewhat poor mode of transportation in Courtice because there are a good number of elevation changes to challenge cyclists, and there are few bike lanes.

Everyday essentials

Primary schools and daycares are very easy to reach by foot from most properties for sale in this part of the municipality. On the other hand, high schools are not particularly abundant and thus not always within a short distance. Regarding food, the closest supermarket in Courtice is usually only a long trip away. There are also a limited number of options for those who care about restaurants and cafes in close proximity.

Local character

People who prefer a calm atmosphere will enjoy Courtice. Courtice is very quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour.

Surrounding homes

The housing stock of Courtice is composed predominantly of single detached homes and townhouses. This neighbourhood did not experience a single construction boom; the construction of new buildings in Courtice was spread throughout several decades in the twentieth and twenty-first century. However this part of the municipality is especially good for those looking for three bedroom homes. Nearly 95% of the dwellings in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners and 5% are rented.

A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Before you
call it home.

What do the location scores measure?

Local Logic supplies individual access and character scores on a 0–5 scale for the recorded coordinates. Consider each measure separately; we do not calculate an overall livability rating.

Are the distances walking times?

No. Distances are straight-line measurements from the project reference. Open directions to check a walking, cycling, transit or driving route.

Does a nearby school guarantee admission?

No. Confirm attendance boundaries, programs, capacity and registration requirements with the relevant school board.

Do the demographic figures describe future residents?

No. They describe the existing population in the provider’s surrounding study area. They do not predict the buyers or future residents of this project.

SOURCES & METHODOLOGY

A guide with a clear point of reference.

Prepared by Team Arora. Scores, neighbourhood descriptions, school records, places and demographic information are supplied by Local Logic. Requests are cached for up to 24 hours; underlying source periods may be older. Provider neighbourhood labels may differ from builder descriptions. Missing data remains unavailable.

Recorded coordinates: 43.89724229999999, -78.77173379999999. Amenity queries use a 2.5 km radius; school results retain the provider’s school-search coverage. Distances use the returned straight-line measurement, or are calculated directly between coordinates when absent. The project page includes the existing map; Google provides the linked directions. Verify current place details, boundaries and routes before making a decision.
