Green spaces, like Edmonds Park and Taylor Park, are very well-distributed and there are over 50 of them nearby for residents to check out, which makes it very easy to access them. Finally, most sections of this neighbourhood are very serene and quiet, but some other parts can be noisy, especially around the railway line.

Getting around

Stride Avenue allows house buyers to move around using a diversity of means of transportation. The public transit system in Stride Avenue is moderately practical thanks to many nearby rapid transit stations on the Expo Line, and around 10 nearby bus lines. People who value walkability will also enjoy the pedestrian-friendly character of Stride Avenue; many daily needs can be carried out without needing to resort to a vehicle, and there are also a fair number of businesses in proximity. Moving around by bicycle is easy in this part of Burnaby since the cycling network is reasonably well-developed.

Everyday essentials

It is very often an option for house buyers in Stride Avenue to do their groceries on foot.
