A NEIGHBOURHOOD IN CONTEXT

Start with how
you spend your day.

Concordia University offers a variety of experiences for home buyers who enjoy a vibrant atmosphere and spending time outdoors. Finding things to do is especially easy in this neighbourhood. There are numerous nearby entertainment venues, there are a very large number of people around most of the time, and places to go out at night are well-distributed throughout the neighbourhood. This part of Montréal also features a small amount of greenery; to be more specific, residents will find that a lot of streets have below average tree coverage. However, although this neighbourhood is not home to any public green spaces, parks are especially well-located in nearby neighbourhoods, making it very easy to access them from the majority of locations in Concordia University.

Getting around

Home buyers in Concordia University have various options to move around without using a car. This part of the city is an extraordinarily pleasant part of Montréal for moving around by public transit owing to Guy-Concordia Station on the Ligne 1 - Verte, and approximately 10 nearby bus lines. This neighbourhood is also especially suitable for walking; all daily needs can be carried out without the use of a car, and a very large number of businesses of different types can be found as well. Concordia University is quite appropriate for cycling because bike-share stations are never more than a few blocks away, and there are a good number of bike lanes.

Everyday essentials

Parents and their kids will welcome the proximity to daycares and schools, which are within walking distance from most, if not all, homes for sale in Concordia University. As far as eating is concerned, it is especially convenient to reach both a general and a specialty grocery store by walking from any location in this part of the city. Additionally, thanks to over 50 restaurants and a few cafes, Concordia University is an excellent area in which to go out to eat, for example on Rue Sainte-Catherine.

A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Before you
call it home.

What do the location scores measure?

Local Logic supplies individual access and character scores on a 0–5 scale for the recorded coordinates. Consider each measure separately; we do not calculate an overall livability rating.

Are the distances walking times?

No. Distances are straight-line measurements from the project reference. Open directions to check a walking, cycling, transit or driving route.

Does a nearby school guarantee admission?

No. Confirm attendance boundaries, programs, capacity and registration requirements with the relevant school board.

Do the demographic figures describe future residents?

No. They describe the existing population in the provider’s surrounding study area. They do not predict the buyers or future residents of this project.

SOURCES & METHODOLOGY

Compare neighbourhood context across Montréal ↗ · Explore Montréal new-home projects ↗

Prepared by Team Arora. Scores, neighbourhood descriptions, school records, places and demographic information are supplied by Local Logic. Requests are cached for up to 24 hours; underlying source periods may be older. Provider neighbourhood labels may differ from builder descriptions. Missing data remains unavailable.

Recorded coordinates: 45.494574, -73.5746683. Amenity queries use a 2.5 km radius; school results retain the provider’s school-search coverage. Distances use the returned straight-line measurement, or are calculated directly between coordinates when absent. The project page includes the existing map; Google provides the linked directions. Verify current place details, boundaries and routes before making a decision.
