A NEIGHBOURHOOD IN CONTEXT

Start with how
you spend your day.

Central Erin Mills is a reasonably good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a calm atmosphere. Public green spaces, including Sugar Maple Woods and Croation Parish Park, are especially well-spread out and there are over 100 of them nearby for residents to relax in, making them very easy to reach. This area is also reasonably quiet, as there are usually low levels of noise from traffic - although that is not the case closer to the railway line, the airport (Toronto (Mississauga Credit Valley Hospital) Heliport) or Highway 403.

Getting around

Regardless of the mode of transportation, it is reasonably simple to get around in this neighbourhood. Central Erin Mills will attract people who value living in a compact community since it is suitable for getting around on foot; many daily errands can be run without needing a car. This area is also reasonably appropriate for bicycling because the bicycling network is rather well-developed. Home buyers can count on public transit to get around in Central Erin Mills due to plenty of nearby rapid transit stations with access to the Meadowvale Express and University Express, and around 20 nearby bus lines. Driving is also a very good transportation option in Central Erin Mills. Accessing a parking spot is easy, and the majority of real estate listings are a rather short drive from the closest highway, such as Highway 403.

Everyday essentials

Parents and their schoolchildren will welcome the proximity to schools and daycares, which are within a short distance from vast majority houses for sale in this part of Mississauga. When it comes to food, it is very easy to get to the nearest grocery store without needing a vehicle from any home in Central Erin Mills. Moreover, there are a fair number of opportunities in close proximity for those who care about restaurants and cafes. A good selection of clothing stores is also available within a rather short walking distance.

Surrounding homes

Single detached homes are the most common housing type, representing around 45% of buildings in Central Erin Mills, and the remaining dwellings are mainly large apartment buildings. This part of Mississauga did not experience a single building boom; the construction of new buildings in this neighbourhood was spread throughout multiple decades in the twentieth and twenty-first century. This area also has a good choice of unit sizes - it is quite easy to find properties ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms. About three quarters of the dwellings in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners while the rest are rented.

A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Before you
call it home.

What do the location scores measure?

Local Logic supplies individual access and character scores on a 0–5 scale for the recorded coordinates. Consider each measure separately; we do not calculate an overall livability rating.

Are the distances walking times?

No. Distances are straight-line measurements from the project reference. Open directions to check a walking, cycling, transit or driving route.

Does a nearby school guarantee admission?

No. Confirm attendance boundaries, programs, capacity and registration requirements with the relevant school board.

Do the demographic figures describe future residents?

No. They describe the existing population in the provider’s surrounding study area. They do not predict the buyers or future residents of this project.

Prepared by Team Arora. Scores, neighbourhood descriptions, school records, places and demographic information are supplied by Local Logic. Requests are cached for up to 24 hours; underlying source periods may be older. Provider neighbourhood labels may differ from builder descriptions. Missing data remains unavailable.

Recorded coordinates: 43.5586447, -79.7115912. Amenity queries use a 2.5 km radius; school results retain the provider’s school-search coverage. Distances use the returned straight-line measurement, or are calculated directly between coordinates when absent. The project page includes the existing map; Google provides the linked directions. Verify current place details, boundaries and routes before making a decision.
