Forest Hill South is very quiet overall, as there tend to be low levels of noise from traffic. However, the greenery in this part of Toronto is very prominent; public green spaces, including Sir Winston Churchill Park and Nordheimer Ravine, are especially well-distributed and there are over 50 of them nearby for residents to unwind in, which makes it very easy to reach them. Residents will also find that the tree canopy coverage for the majority of streets is very good. Getting around

Forest Hill South allows home buyers to get around using several modes of transportation. The transit in this part of the city is very good due to a multitude of nearby rapid transit stations with access to the Line 1 (Yonge-University), and about 20 nearby bus lines. A majority of the houses for sale in this part of Toronto are located in places that are also very convenient for people who like to get around by foot; all day-to-day needs can be met without a car, and various businesses are rather close at hand. Forest Hill South will draw active people because it is fairly suitable for cycling. More specifically, a bike share station can generally be found in close proximity.

Everyday essentials

It is a very short trip to access daycares and schools from any location in Forest Hill South. Concerning eating, it is very often an option for home buyers in this area to buy general and specialty groceries on foot. Additionally, thanks to 150-odd restaurants and cafes in Forest Hill South, there is almost always a spot to get some food or drink just around the corner.
