Access to public green spaces in the neighbourhood, including Panama Hill Park and Swan Lake Christmas Hill Nature Sanctuary, is very easy since there are over 50 of them nearby for residents to relax in. This part of the municipality is also very good for those who prefer quiet surroundings, as the streets are very peaceful.

Getting around

Cars are an excellent transportation option in Carey. It is a short car ride to the closest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway, from any location in this neighbourhood, and it is convenient to find a place to park. However, the public transit service in Carey is not very frequent. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is connected by approximately 20 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most residences. Carey will appeal to physically active home buyers as it is fairly suitable for biking. More specifically, the cycling network is moderately comprehensive. In contrast, walking is not very popular in this area, although running day-to-day errands is convenient without a vehicle.

Everyday essentials

House buyers in Carey will welcome that a grocery store is always only a rather short distance away. Likewise, there are a good number of options within walking distance for those who care about restaurants and cafes. Concerning education, daycares and schools are very easy to reach without the need for a vehicle from anywhere in Carey.
