A NEIGHBOURHOOD IN CONTEXT

Start with how
you spend your day.

Rangeview is a very good neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a relaxed ambience. Rangeview is very quiet overall, as the streets tend to be very peaceful. Green spaces aren't well-situated, making them rather difficult to access from a lot of locations within the neighbourhood. Despite that, there are approximately 10 parks close by for residents to check out.

Getting around

Driving is a great transportation option in Rangeview. Parking is generally easy. In contrast, public transit users may experience very few choices in Rangeview by reason of the service's low frequency. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines, and most homes are close to a bus stop. Rangeview is reasonably appropriate for cycling. It is very inconvenient for pedestrians to navigate this neighbourhood as many daily needs are impractical to carry out without the use of a vehicle.

Everyday essentials

A vehicle is usually required in Rangeview to reach the closest supermarket. There are also a few options for those who appreciate restaurants and cafes in close proximity. Regarding education, there are only a very small number of high schools in this area and therefore they can be a very long trip away. Likewise, Rangeview does not contain any primary schools. Furthermore, daycares are not particularly abundant and thus not always within walking distance.

Local character

Rangeview is a very good neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a relaxed ambience. Rangeview is very quiet overall, as the streets tend to be very peaceful. Green spaces aren't well-situated, making them rather difficult to access from a lot of locations within the neighbourhood. Despite that, there are approximately 10 parks close by for residents to check out.

Surrounding homes

Over half of the housing stock of Rangeview is made up of small apartment buildings and single detached homes. This part of the city is primarily composed of three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes. About two thirds of the population of this neighbourhood own their home and one third are renters. This part of Calgary experienced its main building boom following the year 2000, so most of the available homes are from this era.

A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Before you
call it home.

What do the location scores measure?

Local Logic supplies individual access and character scores on a 0–5 scale for the recorded coordinates. Consider each measure separately; we do not calculate an overall livability rating.

Are the distances walking times?

No. Distances are straight-line measurements from the project reference. Open directions to check a walking, cycling, transit or driving route.

Does a nearby school guarantee admission?

No. Confirm attendance boundaries, programs, capacity and registration requirements with the relevant school board.

Do the demographic figures describe future residents?

No. They describe the existing population in the provider’s surrounding study area. They do not predict the buyers or future residents of this project.

SOURCES & METHODOLOGY

A guide with a clear point of reference.

Prepared by Team Arora. Scores, neighbourhood descriptions, school records, places and demographic information are supplied by Local Logic. Requests are cached for up to 24 hours; underlying source periods may be older. Provider neighbourhood labels may differ from builder descriptions. Missing data remains unavailable.

Recorded coordinates: 50.88254921755199, -113.9365910545532. Amenity queries use a 2.5 km radius; school results retain the provider’s school-search coverage. Distances use the returned straight-line measurement, or are calculated directly between coordinates when absent. The project page includes the existing map; Google provides the linked directions. Verify current place details, boundaries and routes before making a decision.
