Getting around

It is easy for people walking to navigate this neighbourhood; running daily errands is convenient without the need for a vehicle. Willoughby is also rather amenable to biking since the cycling network is very good. Willoughby is moderately car friendly. It is easy to park. On the other hand, the transit infrastructure in Willoughby is fairly poor. Thankfully, there are about 10 bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and it is very convenient to reach a nearby bus stop from most homes.

It is a short distance to reach daycares and primary schools from anywhere in Willoughby. In contrast, families may consider it challenging for their kids to reach high schools without needing a vehicle. Concerning food, the nearest grocery store in Willoughby is usually only a reasonably short trip away. In addition, there are a good number of opportunities for those who care about nearby restaurants and cafes.

Willoughby offers a relaxed ambience and will appeal to those who enjoy spending time outdoors. The noise levels in this part of Township of Langley are very low, as the streets tend to be very calm. Finally, there are over 100 parks nearby for residents to discover, including Walnut Grove Community Park and Port Kells Park, and they are very well-situated, which results in them being very easy to access from many locations within Willoughby.
