More specifically, parks, including Bayview Village Park, are very well-spread out and there are over 50 of them nearby for residents to explore, which results in them being very easy to reach from the majority of locations within Avondale. Finally, this part of the city is a good area for those who aren't bothered by a bit of noise, since traffic can occasionally be loud during rush hour, although there are still several quieter sections.

Getting around

Avondale will attract home buyers that use several methods of transportation. The public transit network in this area is very good thanks to plenty of nearby rapid transit stations with access to the Line 4 (Sheppard) and Line 1 (Yonge-University), and approximately 10 nearby bus lines. House buyers who want to be in a walkable community will also enjoy the moderately pedestrian-friendly character of this part of Toronto; many day-to-day errands can be run without the use of a car, and a good number of businesses of different types can be found as well. Avondale is rather suited for biking.

Daycares and schools are very easy to get to without a car from most homes for sale in Avondale. Regarding eating, a grocery store is generally reachable within a very short trip from any location in Avondale. Moreover, with 50-odd restaurants and cafes in this area, there is typically a spot to get some food or drink just around the corner. It is also a short distance to a very good selection of clothing stores.
