No matter what type of character home buyers prefer in a neighbourhood, Sunalta is a fairly good option. Sunalta is reasonably quiet, as the streets tend to be quite peaceful. Parks are very easy to access since there are over 50 of them nearby for residents to discover. Lastly, finding dynamic areas in this neighbourhood is easy. Even though few entertainment venues can be found nearby, the streets are very often busy with people, and with its about 10 bars, there are options for nighttime activities.

Getting around

This part of Calgary will please property owners that appreciate various modes of transportation. It is very easy for people travelling on foot to get around in Sunalta; all common errands can be run without a vehicle, and there are also a fair number of businesses nearby. This area will also draw active house buyers because it is very suited for bicycling. In particular, much of the area is reasonably flat, and there are a fair number of bike lanes. The transit in this area is reasonably practical as a result of 3 rapid transit stations (EB Downtown West-Kerby Station (TD Free Fare Zone), WB Downtown-West Kerby Station (TD Free Fare Zone) and Sunalta Station) on the Blue Line - Saddletowne/69 Street CTrain, and approximately 20 nearby bus lines. This neighbourhood is also car friendly. It is a rather short car ride to the closest highway from any location in this part of the city.

Everyday essentials

In Sunalta, parents and their kids will typically be able to reach daycares and schools as pedestrians. With regards to eating, it is very convenient to get to both a general and a specialty grocery store without a car from most houses for sale in Sunalta. Likewise, there are over 50 restaurants and a few cafes to enjoy in this part of Calgary. It is also a short walk to a very good choice of clothing stores.

Local character

No matter what type of character home buyers prefer in a neighbourhood, Sunalta is a fairly good option. Sunalta is reasonably quiet, as the streets tend to be quite peaceful. The sizeable percentage of small apartment buildings in the housing stock of Sunalta is an important part of its character. This neighbourhood offers mainly two bedroom and one bedroom homes.
