Getting around
West Bend permits house buyers to move around by several alternative modes of transportation. It is very convenient for pedestrians to navigate this neighbourhood; most day-to-day needs can be met without a car, and there are also a fair number of businesses close by. West Bend is also a fairly pleasant part of Toronto for cyclists. More precisely, the cycling network is good, and there is usually a bike-share station nearby. Thanks to a multitude of nearby rapid transit stations on the Line 2 (Bloor - Danforth), and about 20 nearby bus lines, the great public transit access makes transit a viable option for many. Driving is also a fairly good means of transportation in West Bend. It is a rather short car ride to the closest highway from any home in this part of Toronto.
