Getting around

Old Markham Village will please home buyers that use different methods of transportation. With 3 rapid transit stations (Highway 7 / Galsworthy, Hwy 7 / Main Markham and Highway 7 / Galsworthy Dr) with access to the Viva Purple, and around 10 nearby bus lines, the public transit infrastructure in this neighbourhood is moderately convenient. House buyers who appreciate living in a compact community will also enjoy the reasonably pedestrian-friendly character of this area; most daily needs are convenient to meet without a vehicle, and a good number of businesses of different types can be found as well. Old Markham Village is moderately cycling-friendly.

Daycares and schools are very convenient to access as a pedestrian from most homes for sale in Old Markham Village. In terms of eating, it is easy to reach the closest supermarket as a pedestrian from any location in this part of the city. Furthermore, there is generally a restaurant or cafe just around the corner. It is also easy to reach a variety of clothing stores without a car.
