Getting around
The car is usually the preferred way to get around in Homestead. It is very easy to park, and the majority of the street network is conducive to driving. In contrast, the public transit system in this neighbourhood is not very practical. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood. Homestead is not very well-suited for those who get around on foot as very few daily needs can be met without a vehicle. It is also difficult to travel by bike in Homestead because this part of the city is home to rather poor cycling infrastructure, and the topography is not particularly flat.
