A NEIGHBOURHOOD IN CONTEXT

Start with how
you spend your day.

Homesteader has a character that appeals to a fairly diverse group of people. Even though the atmosphere is not the most lively in this part of the city with its a few nightlife venues, it is very easy to find a place to grab a drink as they are generally located around the corner. Homesteader is very quiet overall, as there are low levels of noise from traffic. There are about 20 green spaces close by for residents to unwind in, like Abbottsfield Park and Sifton Park, and they are very well-distributed, making it very easy to access them.

Getting around

House buyers who want to be in a walkable area will be pleased with the reasonably pedestrian-friendly character of Homesteader; meeting daily needs is convenient without a car. The bicycle is a very good mode of transportation in Homesteader as the bicycling network is extensive, and there are few elevation changes to challenge cyclists. The car is usually the favoured way to navigate this part of the city. It is a short drive to the nearest highway from any home in this area, and parking is easy. In contrast, travelling by transit can be occasionally difficult in Homesteader as a result of the service's low frequency. Nevertheless, there are around 10 bus lines, and most properties are very close to a bus stop.

Everyday essentials

In this part of the city, families will generally be able to reach daycares and schools on foot. Regarding food, it is very easy to reach the nearest supermarket without the need for a car from most homes for sale in Homesteader. Additionally, a restaurant is usually just around the corner, and property owners are served by a few cafes as well.

A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Before you
call it home.

What do the location scores measure?

Local Logic supplies individual access and character scores on a 0–5 scale for the recorded coordinates. Consider each measure separately; we do not calculate an overall livability rating.

Are the distances walking times?

No. Distances are straight-line measurements from the project reference. Open directions to check a walking, cycling, transit or driving route.

Does a nearby school guarantee admission?

No. Confirm attendance boundaries, programs, capacity and registration requirements with the relevant school board.

Do the demographic figures describe future residents?

No. They describe the existing population in the provider’s surrounding study area. They do not predict the buyers or future residents of this project.

Prepared by Team Arora. Scores, neighbourhood descriptions, school records, places and demographic information are supplied by Local Logic. Requests are cached for up to 24 hours; underlying source periods may be older. Provider neighbourhood labels may differ from builder descriptions. Missing data remains unavailable.

Recorded coordinates: 53.5864915, -113.4010931. Amenity queries use a 2.5 km radius; school results retain the provider’s school-search coverage. Distances use the returned straight-line measurement, or are calculated directly between coordinates when absent. The project page includes the existing map; Google provides the linked directions.
