To be more precise, it is very easy to reach parks in the neighbourhood, since there are over 50 of them nearby for residents to explore, including Tom Riley Park and Connorvale Park. Residents will also find that the tree canopy coverage for most streets is fairly good. Finally, most sections of this neighbourhood are very serene and quiet, but some other parts can be noisy, especially closer to the airport (Wilson`s Heliport), the railway line, Highway 427 or F G Gardiner Expressway.

Islington City Centre West permits homeowners to travel by a diversity of means of transportation. Owing to various nearby rapid transit stations with access to the Line 2 (Bloor - Danforth) and Meadowvale Express, and approximately 30 nearby bus lines, the transit network in Islington City Centre West is very good. Most houses for sale in this part of Toronto are located in areas that are also fairly conducive to people who prefer to travel by foot; many common errands can be run without a car, and there are also a good number of businesses in proximity. The bike is a good method of transportation in Islington City Centre West because there are not many elevation changes in much of the topography to challenge bike riders, and the bicycling network is reasonably extensive.
