Lastly, although this part of the city is not known for its vibrancy, the vibe is still quite energetic around its main streets, and with its about 10 nightlife venues, there are options for nighttime activities.

Garneau will appeal to home buyers that appreciate several methods of transportation. This area is a fairly pleasant part of Edmonton for getting around by public transit. More precisely, rapid transit stations, including University Station, Health Sciences / Jubilee Station and McKernan/Belgravia Station on the Capital Line and Metro Line, are commonly a short distance away from the greater part of homes in the neighbourhood. There are around 10 bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and the nearest bus stop is usually very close by. House buyers who value walkability will also welcome the pedestrian-friendly character of Garneau; running common errands is easy without a vehicle, and numerous businesses are rather close at hand. A good number of residents in the area use their bicycle because it is an even ride to most locations, and there are many bike lanes.

Everyday essentials
