Playter Estates-Danforth is very quiet, as the streets tend to be very peaceful. There is a good amount of greenery in this part of Toronto; it is very easy to reach public green spaces from the majority of locations in the neighbourhood since there are approximately 40 of them close by for residents to enjoy. This neighbourhood affords property owners several alternative modes of transportation. Playter Estates-Danforth has great transit infrastructure as a consequence of various nearby rapid transit stations with access to the Line 2 (Bloor - Danforth), and around 20 nearby bus lines. This neighbourhood will also appeal to home buyers who appreciate walkability because it is especially walking-friendly; all daily errands can be run without needing a vehicle, and there are also a good number of businesses nearby. Playter Estates-Danforth is a fairly convenient part of Toronto for cyclists. In particular, Playter Estates-Danforth boasts fairly good bicycling infrastructure, and bike-share stations are hardly ever more than a short distance away.

Everyday essentials

Parents and their children will appreciate that wherever their house is situated in this part of Toronto, schools and daycares are nearby. With respect to food, a general and a specialty grocery store is always only a very short stroll away in this area. Danforth Avenue is among the best streets for groceries.
