Even though the ambience is not the most lively in this neighbourhood, its busier streets can still be quite dynamic, and with its a few bars, it is very easy to find a place to grab a drink because they are generally located very close by. Downtown Dartmouth is very quiet overall, as the streets are generally very calm. It is very easy to reach parks from a lot of locations within the neighbourhood since there are around 30 of them nearby for residents to relax in.

Getting around

Regardless of the mode of transportation, it is simple to move around in Downtown Dartmouth. This area features fairly good transit access. For instance, the neighbourhood is linked by about 20 bus lines, and bus stops are commonly around the corner. This neighbourhood will also appeal to home buyers who appreciate residing in a compact area because it is particularly conducive to walking; meeting daily needs is convenient without the use of a vehicle, and a good number of businesses of different types can be found as well. Riding a bike is fairly prevalent in this neighbourhood because the cycling infrastructure is rather extensive.
