Getting around

Elder Mills is very car friendly. Accessing a place to park is easy. However, residents using public transit may experience limited choices in Elder Mills as a result of the low service level. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and most residences are very close to a bus stop. Elder Mills is not particularly bicycling-friendly because the topography is not especially flat, and there are few bike lanes. This part of Vaughan is also not very conducive to those who prefer to get around as pedestrians since many daily needs are sometimes challenging to meet without a vehicle.

Everyday essentials

In all but a limited number of cases, a vehicle is required in Elder Mills to reach the closest supermarket. Nonetheless, pharmacies are typically convenient to reach on foot and sell some basic food items. A small selection of restaurants and cafes is available as well.
