Transportation

Driving is a good means of transportation in Gordon Head. It is easy to park. However, public transit users may have limited choices in Gordon Head as a result of the service's low frequency. Thankfully, there are around 10 bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most homes. Gordon Head is a fairly pleasant part of Saanich for cyclists. More precisely, the bicycling infrastructure is good. Getting around as a pedestrian is not especially practical for house buyers in this neighbourhood as few daily errands can be run without needing a car.

Services

It is difficult to get to the closest supermarket on foot in this neighbourhood. Likewise, a restaurant is often just around the corner, and a limited number of coffee shops can be found as well. With respect to education, in this part of Saanich, families will usually be able to get to schools and daycares without the use of a vehicle.
