Getting around
Bay Street Corridor is a great neighbourhood for car-free transportation options. It is very easy for people walking to get around in this part of Toronto; most daily needs are very easy to meet by walking, and many businesses are very nearby. Cycling is quite common in Bay Street Corridor as bike-share stations are rarely more than a few blocks away, there are few elevation changes to challenge cyclists, and the bicycling infrastructure is very good. With many nearby rapid transit stations on the Line 1 (Yonge-University), and approximately 10 nearby bus lines, commuting by public transit is especially convenient in Bay Street Corridor. On the other hand, driving is a somewhat poor transportation option in Bay Street Corridor. That being said, nearby highways are easy to drive to from any home in this part of Toronto.
