No matter what type of character home buyers prefer in a neighbourhood, Danforth is a good option. Although the atmosphere is not the liveliest in this part of Toronto, the vibe is still quite dynamic around its busier streets, and finding one of the about 10 bars is very easy because they are generally situated in especially convenient locations. Most areas in Danforth are very quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour. The greenery in this neighbourhood is quite prominent; green spaces, like Monarch Park and Withrow Park, are especially well-located and there are over 50 of them close by for residents to visit, which makes it very easy to reach them. Residents will also find that the tree canopy coverage for numerous streets is reasonably good.

Getting around

This part of the city enables home buyers to move around by several alternative modes of transportation. The transit network in this part of Toronto is very good thanks to various nearby rapid transit stations with access to the Line 2 (Bloor - Danforth), and about 20 nearby bus lines. Getting around by walking is also particularly practical for property owners in this neighbourhood; meeting daily needs is easy without a vehicle, and a fair number of businesses of different types can be found as well. The bike is a fairly good mode of transportation in this part of the city.

House buyers in this part of Toronto will welcome that a general and a specialty grocery store is always only a very short stroll away. Furthermore, thanks to 100-odd restaurants and cafes in this neighbourhood, there is typically a spot to get some food or drink just around the corner.
